‘Hops’ is an Australian owned business based in Melbourne wholly focussed on the development of not only basketball product into the footwear market but also other closely related sports in terms of movement and performance. With our new range of low cuts we are excited to be able to move into Netball and Tennis as well as cross training at the Gym. We have found the aggressive movements and range of motion used is very similar to basketball.

From an idea born long ago, 3 years of planning and development now behind it sees us ready to take the next step in our quest for quality technical product on the feet of our consumers.

With our own patented ‘Medial Wing’ technology that provides optimum stability throughout our light weight product, the use of 100% natural leather is also important not taking away from the strength and durability of Hops. The Medial Wing was first used on our Basketball customers but we have found since that Netball and Tennis players also enjoy the benefits of stability and balance when moving aggressivley just like in Basketball.

For this reason we are excited to open our footwear and technology to Netball, Tennis and Cross training through fitness centres.
